Ariane O’Pry Trammell to visit

Yummm! Edible books
Love books & food? Ages 18+ can participate in this 2nd annual event, which features artistic, edible creations inspired by book covers, characters, themes, etc., of any size, shape, or ingredient. If it is edible, you may use it. Drop off your creation on the day of the event. Main: Apr 27@10 am.

FREE garage sale
Celebrate Earth Day by “freecycling” items and sharing with others. Donate gently used (not damaged) items such as household decorations, cookware, small furniture, toys & electronics. No clothing. ME-saic Portrait Art is all about YOU!

Secrets of a stuffed-animal sleepover
Ages 0-7 will drop off their stuffed animal for an overnight stay and then come back to find out all the wild things the animals are up to at night. Main: Apr 25@6 pm.

Star Wars Escape Room
The Main Branch of the Livingston Parish Library’s escape room is an adventure game in which four friends ages 12-18 will be locked in a room and have to use Star Wars elements of the room to solve a series of puzzles, find clues, and escape within 30 minutes. Mystery dinner theater
It’s “midnight” in outer space and everyone arriving at the Comic Con event of the year is a murder suspect, you are the detectives! Murder Mystery Dinner Theater is hosted by the Denham Springs-Walker Branch Writers Circle and Young Writers Club. Dinner will be served with jambalaya provided by Pot and Paddle of Juban Crossing.
