Dr. Robin Dale opens family practice in his hometown

After spending time working for both Oschner and Our Lady of the Lake Healthcare Providers, Dr. Robin Dale has branched out on his own. Dr. Dale opened his family practice in the Dixon Medical and Office Complex on Florida Boulevard in his hometown of Denham Springs.
“I am so excited be able to do things and run things as I want. I can steer the ship and move much more fastpaced to take care of my patients, get quicker results and get it right for all of them,” he said.

Jennifer Lanier, office manager, Robin Dale, MD and Cindy Moreno, Medical Assistant and Front Office Specialist all work together to provide great care in a more personal and intimate setting.

Dr. Dale is a graduate of Denham Springs High School. He has degrees from LSU in Baton Rouge, with a BS in Microbiology (PreMed) in 1997, and his Medical Doctorate from LSU HSC in New Orleans in 2001. He went to LSU HSC in Shreveport and completed his Family Practice Residency in Alexandria in 2004, where he served as chief resident his final year.
“I have always wanted to be a doctor,“ he explained. “I have been blessed with a good mind and enjoy a challenge. I couldn’t think of a more challenging but also more rewarding profession than becoming a doctor. I specifically loved the idea of helping my friends, neighbors, my church members and my community, one person at a time.”
Becoming a doctor and giving back to the community he grew up in has also been a source of pride and joy for Dr. Dale’s entire family.
“I am the first doctor in my family and come from humble beginnings with my father a pipefitter and my mother a stay-at-home mom- both of whom lived through the Great Depression,” he said. “To be able to progress from working hard physically to working hard mentally has been an awesome feat that all of my siblings have also been able to achieve, and one that I am so very proud of.”
Dr. Dale’s office is not your typical doctor’s office. They feature plush sofas and big screen TVs and offer fresh select coffees.
“My staff and I want our patients to come in and forget their pain and their troubles for a moment and just feel right at home,” he said. “Their (health and comfort) are the only things that matter, and we want to provide a nice, comfortable atmosphere as well as always providing top notch health care.”
