Professional Title brings office back to Denham Springs

Professional Title has been in operation for 35 years, with attorney Billy Leach as the owner for the last 14 years. The business was temporarily moved to Baton Rouge while their building on Range protitleAve. in Denham Springs was undergoing total restoration after it took on five and a half feet of flood waters last August. The Denham Springs office reopened April 27.
“We relocated to offices I own on Sherwood Forest Blvd. in Baton Rouge while the building was rebuilt,” said Leach, “but there was never any question that we would come back to Denham, I’m from here and most of my staff lives in this area. I still have the Sherwood property and it will be available when needed, but Denham Springs remains our primary office.”protitle2
The footprint of the building has remained the same, but they raised the ceilings and took out some walls and created a new office suite to rent out. A coffee bar was added in the conference room.
Regarding real estate transfers in flooded areas, Leach commented that they had not seen much of a drop off in transactions. He said, “A lot of investors bought flooded and gutted homes and renovated them, and they are going back on the market. I’m glad to see families buying those houses and making their homes here instead of that house standing vacant.”
Professional Title’s staff are specialists in real estate law and closings. Their experienced attorneys, notaries and abstractors handle all real estate transactions, from title searches, residential sales, construction mortgages, refinances, and second mortgages, to the largest commercial transactions.
