It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas throughout the entire store at The Bee’s Knees located in the historic antiques district along Range Avenue in Denham
Springs. They have everything from Christmas clothes for infants, girls and boys clothes, plus toys, books, baby skin care items and so much more to help Santa stuff those stockings.
“We had to close for two months last year as our families worked hard to make a comeback after the flood of 2016, after three and half feet of water damaged the shop,” said Laurie Mobley, Bee’s Knees co-owner said. “We were able to save our store fixtures, about 10% of our inventory and our embroidery and monogram machines. And, we were so blessed that our vendors were so good to us and really helped us out.”

tiful new barn wood style ooring and an array of fabulous new items plus clothing and gift lines that are sure to dazzle all the little ones on Santa’s wish lists.
“We also have a great LSU selection for all tiny Tiger fans who love purple and gold, and we love to support local vendors like ‘Bow Designs’ unique hair bows, bibs and burp cloths by Polka Dot Lollipop and Sensational Aromas bath bombs and air fresheners…featuring some of the cutest can- dy cane shapes,” Mobley said.
The Bee’s Knees carries well-known classic baby clothes by Petit Ami, Feltman Brothers and Isobella & Chloe. They also carry Funtasia and Bailey Boys and the popular Kissy Kissy line for infants featuring super soft and adorable gowns, footie’s, blankets, caps, and mittens.
And, where else can you nd Noodle and Boo? Never heard of it? It’s a fantastic all -natural skin care line of su- per-soft gentle lotions and sunscreens perfect for babies’ sensitive skin. They actually smell like a precious newborn baby, but many adults admit they love it, too.
“You will just love our classic toy lines by Stephen Joseph, Melissa & Doug, and Alex Toys. Many of these are good, sturdy, wooden toys that are great developmental tools that really enhance learning and can be passed down from generation to generation,” said Mobley.

They offer a wide selection of other items that can be monogrammed in-house as well, from infants and up, and specialty gifts items as well.
“We want to really go that extra mile and be a full-service shopping experience for our customers,” “Mobley said. “The shop is family-owned and operated, so we get to know our customers, and they become just like family. We dress their babies till they grow up and grow out of our clothes.”
They carry sizes preemie through 14-16 in girls and preemie through size 10-12 for boys.
“We have often been at market, buying for the shop, and we will call many of our customers to see what they need and order extra sizes for them,” Mobley said. “This community has been so good to us and supported us and families and new customers continue to shop here. We are so grateful and so blessed.”
